While interning at Title Nine, I took on a number of projects outside of my comfort zone. Luckily, I had a great time working with such a supportive and empowering group of coworkers. The tasks I was assigned never seemed too big or too foreign to handle, thanks to the help of my teammates. A big project I worked on was illustrating the holiday gift card under the theme ‘adventure.’
To represent the feisty and empowering attitude of the brand, I played with type and incorporated a handwritten component in the final design. By highlighting the company’s ‘Pow Beanie,’ a top selling seasonal product, I connected the gift card back to the holidays. After reviewing several color studies, a festive and colorful final draft was chosen to represent the company brand.
